A comic!

Here is a comic I did late at night when I was very very tired.

Mario and Luigi!

Bless my starry skies! It's been a while! To make up for it, here is some drawings!
mamma mia

Print it out and color it in!

I will be continuing to update this blog regularly, I swear! There will be old art and new art, but most of all there will be art. If you could call it that. Me? I call it drawings.

Atticus

This is Dr. Orlock, who you've seen before, but here he is in a less than natural form. I am working on color design, and these quick sketches help.

Abbott, The Ace, Caldicot, and Captain Zoop

I'm trying to do one of these a day, and so far I've succeeded. Let's see if I can keep it up...

Glumes

These are Glumes, a race of what I like to call 'super-ghosts'. They can do just about whatever the like, including extending their limbs, freely severing and re-attaching limbs, and fading to invisibility.

They come from another dimension, and are, in actuality, an alternate version of what we (well, I) consider ghosts.

It's just Sinestro. Move along.

I apologize to everyone for this. I just...like his face.

Death(s)

These are various Deaths from various dimensions, gathering together to discuss Gods and political affairs. Note the changes on Cuthbert from the last post, if you would like. If you don't, I won't be too offended.

Cuthbert

This is Death from an alternate universe. He's named Cuthbert. Not pictured: his pipe, which he smokes to remain calm. His arms? They are like accordions.

Balloon Men

The Balloon Men! These dumb looking aliens study planets and figure out what poisons kill their inhabitants, and then fill themselves with that very substance, and then rule the world, as any physical attacks will release the poison, and kill a bunch of people.

While I don't have the particulars for you, they are actually a sort of slime mold which spreads over the skin of a creature, eating it slowly from the outside in. That explains their different shapes, as they retain the shape of whatever they originally killed.

Dragon God

This is the Dragon God. He's a pretty nice guy, but people are creeped out by him, 'cause they can see his insides. It really bums him out, so that's why he's okay with living in space. He shoots incredible lasers from his trio of eyes, and once destroyed a whole fleet of alien invaders bent on the conquest of Earth, and Earth didn't even say thanks! What a bunch of jerks! Huh!

Also, he moves around by *ahem* dispelling gases, as there's not a lot of air in space, and, even if his wings had some sort of film between them, they wouldn't do anything when flapping!

HE-MUN

This pleasant fellow is a combination of all the Root Mun in a weird sort of Frankenstein way.

I'm pretty sure he studies dead stuff...I don't really remember to be honest.

Phaunts

These are Phaunts! *ahem*

Phaunt – Ramphastos Pachydermoid – Roly-poly creatures that live in the jungles of Napaji, Phaunts are rotund, but very agile. Their gaseous bellies help keep them in the air, as that’s what actually makes them so rotund, and also protect against falls as they just bounce off the ground. Their large, powerful arms help to guide their travel, and they have an equally powerful trunk which is used as a third arm. Their tail is short but can be used to wrap around a branch for further footing. They have long, sensitive ears and keen eyesight as well. On the ground their short stubby legs offer little speed, which is why they live in villages amongst the treetops.

And there you have it!

Comic

Look, a comic! It's just a test, to see how I like this Wacom business. Turns out, I like it! Now I just need to, you know, improve my art skills, and I'll be set!

GHOULS!!!

This is The Count! He is a vampire, who was turned into a Ghoul. As a result, he has a thirst for blood, but cannot satisfy it, for living creatures' blood provides no nourishment to a ghost, and other ghosts have no blood! This caused him to go stark raving mad, and he went on a spree, killing hundreds in an attempt to quench his thirst.

This is the Baron. He runs the entire steam industry! You'll note he's a ghoul, but certainly his body looks much larger than the Count's, who has a normal-ghoul sized body. I wonder why that could be...

Vorcon Rull

This is actually the father of one of my more main characters. He's a Yarrick, my generic brutal, war-loving race, but don't worry, they get transported out of their dimension and educated an are all tech-savvy now. Anyway, you'll note he looks kind of dumb. Here's why!

Yarricks have these big ol' stingers-of-sorts on their backs, which pierce and immobilize their prey, and then they pierce 'em again with their fangs, and drink their juices. Like a spider!

Oh! Also! Their forearms are made of tough, thin tendrils, which allow them to just have a big spike, or a claw, or fingers, or...well, that's about it really. But they've got a few options, y'know?

A Battalion Unit

This is a Battalion unit. They can shift and change their appearance, as well as adopt to other, unfamiliar forms of technology. They come from outer space!

Well, I think Kalen's blog smells funky. Actually we should call it Kalen's funk-a-blog. Ahh ah ah...

King Krupp

This is King Krupp! He is a very large Cactor. As you can see, he is near his life-long goal of obtaining the elusive Golden Whale, however, this is merely a piece of what some might call "concept art" and by no means proves that he reaches his goal of possession. All those little cactus-men are exact tiny clones of him, which were created by him cutting a bit off of himself and letting it grow.

To gain the Golden Whale, he announced to the world he would pay a handsome sum to who-ever capture it for him. Thus began the adventures of Capitain Cactoom, who you have yet to meet.
